Demba Ba’s Top 7 Goals For Chelsea FC

While not as important as some of the other goals on this list, the goal against Southampton was a typical Demba Ba special. He capitalized on some less than stellar marking and scored one of his trademark acrobatic volleys.  After some hard work by Frank Lampard on the edge of the box, the Chelsea midfielder crossed in to the box. Oscar lost the duel for the 50-50 ball but it looped up dangerously near the penalty spot.

Demba Ba took advantage of the loose ball, shook off his defender, and swiveled his hips and volleyed past the Southampton keeper. It was not the prettiest goal and it looked like Demba Ba was flailing at the ball but if you watch him enough,  it is clear that he knew exactly what he was doing.
