Hundreds of thousands of words have already been written about the Royal Blues wrapping up The Barclays premier League title for the 2014/15 season.
Journalists from all the media outlets have been unanimous in their praise of Chelsea FC’s domination of the Premier League. The same journalists that throughout the season had been rubbishing our style of play all suddenly agreed that we deserved it, and they call some fans “glory hunters”!
Congratulations have been pouring in from all sources, especially from ex players on social media proving that once a member of the #CFCFamily, always a member.
"Frank Lampard used Instagram to express his congratulations:"
"Barely had the hangovers started to recede than the ‘s took centre stage with a Bank Holiday trip to neighbours Fulham and as is the “new” Chelsea FC way, they won 3-1 to move within 6 points of top spot with 2 games in hand. A full match report including Dominic Solanke’s 37th and 38th goals of the season can be found Chelsea Under 21 here."
"Then it was the turn of the Chelsea FC Ladies team………… A Women’s FA Cup semi final against Manchester City Ladies kicked off at a neutral venue, Wycombe Wanderer’s home ground to decide who would play Notts County Ladies in the first Women’s FA Cup final to be played at Wembley on August 1st 2015."
"Wembley has been Chelsea FC’s 2nd home for so long in the men’s game with so many records in our name at the home of the National game. The last winners of the FA Cup at the old Wembley and the first winners of the FA Cup at the new Wembley."
"Now the were 1 game away from a new first for Wembley, the final of the Women’s FA Cup. The winning weekend continued and Chelsea FC Ladies duly beat Manchester City Ladies FC 1-0 in an open and exciting semi final. The full match report can be read . Chelsea FC Ladies here"
"Chelsea Ladies FC did it!"
"They continued their excellent start to the season with a combined playing record of P8 W7 D1 L0 which sees them top of the FA WSL1 by 2 points after 5 games, and now in the Women’s FA Cup Final."
