The transfer season is in full swing, so let’s take a look at what transfer rumours concerning Chelsea FC are flying around the press this morning.

Paul Pogba

The ball started to roll on Wednesday as Pedro closed in on a Stamford Bridge switch, now Chelsea have reportedly submitted a bid for Paul Pogba. The Blues have been trailing the Juventus midfielder throughout the summer, but interest had seemed to dissipate since August arrived. However, the dire start to the season has forced the club to become more active in transfer market, and they have offered the Italian giants £86million for the player.

John Stones

Everton boss Roberto Martinez has continued his rhetoric regarding John Stones. Martinez has continually said that Stones is not for sale and would not be headed anywhere this summer, but the Blues have repeatedly submitted offers following the ‘everybody has a price’ notion. However, the Toffees manager is still standing firm on the matter, and if anything it indicates that Chelsea would really need a mega bid to prise the youngster away from Merseyside.

Willian

Jose Mourinho himself moved to quash any rumours suggesting that Willian may be on his way out of West London following Pedro’s arrival. Willian has been one of Chelsea’s best players so far this season, and yet Pedro’s move has caused many to speculate that he would be moved on. This includes reports a couple of days ago that claimed that the Brazilian has been offered to Bayern Munich and PSG. The boss, however, has stated that this is complete rubbish.
