One of the biggest and best sources on social media for all things relating to Chelsea FC Ladies is the “officially unofficial” Facebook page, Chelsea Ladies Supporters Group and the members there have been sending their good luck messages for our ladies.

Tony Farmer, the founder and Chelsea Ladies FC first manager posted:

“23 years ago on Sunday I and 14 players made history playing Chelsea Ladies FC first league game beating Orient 6-2. You can complete that history today by doing the same. What better way to celebrate 23 years of Chelsea Ladies FC than completing the FA Cup and WSL Double. We know you can do and will be there to cheer you onto victory.
Go out and write your place in history ladies ! “

Marina Couch, Chelsea Ladies FC Captain (1995/96 and 1996/97) posted:

“An older Chelsea captain wishes you all the best. Not a shred of doubt you will win. Keep the blue flag flying high ladies. Wish I was there. True blue.”

Another ex player Daisy Gunesh joined in with:

“As an ex-player and managerial staff. I believe the title of champions belongs to Chelsea Ladies. You won’t need luck. Just believe in picking up that trophy when the whistle has blown after the match. Come on you blues……”

Mark, the Facebook page organiser said:

“Leave any doubts in the dressing room as we will all be behind you cheering you on to make history ! Everyone who is a member of CLSG believes in you !”

Steve Howard chipped in with:

“wishing the ladies all the very best for tomorrows game… good luck, you can do it!!”

John Haskett echoed many on the page when he said:

“Ladies you will give it your all.. and we on the terraces will be your 12th man”

Karen Hall weighed in with:

“Good luck girls you can do it. Wishing you all the very best!!! UTC”

Adam Lee kept it short and sweet by saying:

“Good luck Ladies, KTBFFH!!”

John White’s message was:

“All the very best to CLFC for Sunday evening! I’m proud of you and will be heading and kicking every ball out there on the pitch with you! CLFC ARE THE BLUES, ARE THE BEST!!”

Lee Woollard came up with an anagram for the team:

“C – Courage H – Heart E – Energy L – Leaders S – Strong E – Effort A – Awesome L – Lionesses A – Attitude D – Drive I – Industrious E – Endurance S – Supporters”

My personal message is simply this:

“I was there when you lifted the FA Cup at Wembley, and I’ll be there to see you lift the FAWSL1 title at Staines.

You can do it girls! #CFCFamily”

As you can see from the above messages there is a lot of support for the Ladies of Chelsea FC going into the season ending match, a match which hopefully will see them crowned the FAWSL1 2015 Champions.

Tickets can be purchased online here or at the ground on the day priced £5 for adults, £3 for children and OAP’s, and free to existing Chelsea FC season ticket holders.

Directions to the ground can be found here if you’re coming along.
