PSG Suspend Player Ahead Of Chelsea FC Clash After Moronic Comments
PSG have suspended Serge Aurier indefinitely after he made moronic comments during a video posted on social media, days before a huge clash with Chelsea FC.
As Chelsea and PSG prepare for their Round of 16 Champions League clash, the French club have become entangled in a bizarre controversy. Serge Aurier has been suspended indefinitely by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi after he directed insulting comments at both his teammates and his boss.
Posting a video on Periscope, the 23-year-old aimed derogatory shots at PSG manager Laurent Blanc. According to the Mirror’s interpretation of the language used, he labelled his superior as a ‘faggot’ while insinuating that he engages in sexual activity with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

While this is evidently supposed to be a joke, it is a poor one which does little but show his unsuitability to the role of an adult, let alone a professional footballer.
That was not all either. Colleagues in Gregory Van Der Wiel, Edinson Cavani and Salvatore Sirigu were also subject to his musings. The Dutch defender was described as ‘wetter than water’ while Aurier claimed that PSG’s number one goalkeeper was ‘useless’.
There’s being a bit dim, but then there’s this.
Understandably, his teammates have not taken kindly to his words of wisdom with reports suggesting that many are refusing to play or train with the 23-year-old. Moreover, it is widely believed that Aurier’s time at the Parc des Princes is up, with the club set to convert his suspension into something more permanent sooner rather than later.

Al-Khelafi confirmed the suspension in a statement while reiterating his support for the boss and his players.
"PSG wishes to express its fullest support to coach Blanc and to to the players who have rightly felt offended by Aurier’s remarks."
For his part, the midfielder has apologised for his comments.
"What I did was unforgiveable. I made a big mistake. I am here to apologise to the coach, my team-mates, the club and the fans."
However, an apology will likely not cut it for the PSG officials. This is the second time that the Ivorian has been censored for social media remarks. Following Chelsea’s second clash with the French champions last season, Aurier labelled referee Bjorn Kuipers a ‘dirty son of a b***h’ on Facebook after he sent off Ibrahimovic.
While necessary action was taken, this will be a blow for PSG so close to the massive European clash. Aurier has made 19 Ligue 1 appearances for the table-toppers this season, with all of them being starts. It is evident that the player is an integral part of this team and Blanc will have to hastily redraw his plans in time for Tuesday night.

Having said that, most PSG fans would agree that the club are much better off without this liability of a human-being on their roster. His stupidity has been simply unimaginable.
