Reece James (No. 24) Right wingback, England

After scoring the winning penalty midweek against Villa, Reece James will return to his preferred position of right wingback. He will be tasked of sending balls into box like he did for Timo Werner’s goal and dealing with either Jack Grealish or Gabriel Jesus defensively. Due to James’ versatility, he could play as right centerback similar to where he played as midweek, but his pace and crossing will be very valuable in finding a breakthrough in this contest.

Jorginho (No. 5) Central midfielder, Italy

Jorginho will have do what he always does: all the simple things. He dictates the play with short passes and lets N’Golo Kante do all the running. We all know Jorginho’s weakness is holding the ball for too long and getting caught of possession. However, his passing and tackling will be important in starting counterattacks and breaking down a strong Man City defense.

N’Golo Kante (No. 7) Central midfielder, France

Just be everywhere. That’s really what Kante will do as always. He showed that he isn’t scared to shoot last week and he reaped the rewards, here’s hoping he can be as dominant as we know he can be against City again. Kante is a big game player and that’s exactly what Chelsea needs him to do to shine. Everyone knows about the little injuries that he picks up often, so putting maximum effort in these type of games, and rest and recovery after, will be the best formula for Kante going forward.

Marcos Alonso (No. 3) Left wingback, Spain

We’ve heard it all before, Marcos Alonso can’t defend. While many believe that remains true, Alonso’s form has been nothing short of spectacular and he’s proved doubters wrong. Unfortunately, this has pushed Ben Chilwell aside, but you cannot deny Alonso’s talent. He scored a late winner last season at the Etihad and one wouldn’t count him out of doing that again due to how threatening he is in the attacking third.
