Hakim Ziyech (No. 22) Right winger, Morocco

Hakim Ziyech has been doing well, irrespective of what the other fans say, since coming back from the brutal shoulder injury he suffered against Villarreal in the Super Cup. Even more interesting is the fact that Ziyech has been working hard off the ball and improving his defensive work rate. Tuchel should continue to reward him and give him another chance against Watford midweek. Expect a statement performance from the Moroccan against the Hornets as the Blues need someone to pick up the slack following a poor outing against the Red Devils.

Romelu Lukaku (No. 9) Striker, Belgium

If fit, Romelu Lukaku starts. It’s as simple as that, no questions asked. Chelsea didn’t break the bank for Lukaku in order to simply rotate him or rest him. Moreover, he went through a small lean patch before getting injured. Watford could be the perfect opportunity for him to score a couple of goals and gain some confidence back ahead of the most important run of fixtures this season. Chelsea is still figuring out how to play to Lukaku’s strengths and the attack is a work in progress. Tuchel needs to find a solution as soon as possible as fixtures start piling up during the winter period.

Christian Pulisic (No. 10) Left winger, United States

Christian Pulisic made an instant impact off the bench against Man United, as he has done in multiple games recently. His presence brought fresh energy on the pitch and he made some darting runs on the wing, despite being in a wingback position. Pulisic has a direct approach where he takes on defenders one-on-one and the American has the quality to beat his man with skills and pace. With Lukaku present as a focal point, Pulisic will get the chance to penetrate Watford’s defence from the left wing. Expect a strong performance from Chelsea’s No.10, including a goal.
