Reece James (Right wingback): 6.5/10

Reece James was restored to the starting XI after missing out on the last game against Watford. In the first half with very little defending to do, James was highly involved in the attacking half, creating two key passes throughout the game. But after the restart, James had to be more solid defensively as he saw very little of the ball in the second half. It was an average performance.

Jorginho (Central midfield): 5/10

Jorginho came back in the starting line-up after his midweek rest and for the second game in a row, the Italian midfielder proved to be the downfall of Chelsea. As the Blues were on cruise control after taking the lead in the first half, a loose and sloppy back pass put Mendy under pressure. The mistake allowed for the equalizer from nowhere. In the second half, Jorginho was not involved much in the attacking play. Not to forget how stupidly he got himself booked in the first half for dissent as he tried to award himself a free kick by falling over the ball and handling it.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Central midfield): 8/10

One of the best players on the pitch on Saturday was Ruben Loftus-Cheek. After his disappointing performance against Watford in the midweek, Loftus-Cheek bounced back well and had an amazing match. He used his strength very well against the likes of Soucek and Lanzini and stamped his authority in the second half when West Ham was on top.

Marcos Alonso (Left wingback): 5.5/10

Marcos Alonso is turning out to be a very weak point for the club after the injury to Ben Chilwell. In the first half, his delivery in the final third was woeful but the link-up play from the Spaniard was done very well, which kept Chelsea’s moves ticking over. Defensively, Alonso was very vulnerable and West Ham’s second equalizer was built from Alonso’s side in which he was very weak in the tackle to Coufal.
