1. Edouard Mendy

Edouard Mendy, where would we be without our amazing keeper? The Senegalese shot-stopper came to Chelsea for a very moderate fee last season and he has undoubtedly been one of the main reasons for all of the club’s success from last season onward. The main problem for the Blues was that their former No. 1 keeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, had lost his confidence and the Blues were conceding too many goals. However, after Peter Cech personally scouted Mendy and recommended him to Lampard, the former manager could not say no. He turned out to be a great investment and he is currently the best goalkeeper in the world, although he was snubbed at the Ballon d’Or awards. Chelsea would have never won the Champions League last season or managed to stay on top of the PL this season without Mendy.

The former Rennes keeper was brilliant as usual and managed to keep three clean sheets in five matches. He did concede in two matches. However, the goals were not scored due to his mistake and in fact, he made quite a few brilliant saves last month to maintain the Blues’ position in the table. Mendy had to be sharp in the match against Juventus as it put together a few good counter-attacking moves. Weston McKennie even took a fantastic shot, which was saved brilliantly by Chelsea’s fantastic No. 1.

Mendy, like Silva, has been Mr. Reliable for the Chelsea team and his presence on the field is immense. Without him, there is always a doubt in the defence, as Arrizabalaga has not been played regularly, so his form is a tad bit lacking. Mendy is always one of the top players for the Blues, but in the month of November when the defence was more active than the offence, his brilliance was even more visible. It was a shame that he was not given the same recognition as some of the other keepers. Nevertheless, he tops our list for the best Chelsea players in the month of November.
