Reece James (Right wingback): 6.5/10

The England international was heavily involved in the first half and drifted into the midfield plenty of times, despite playing as a wingback. Reece James got booked for a wild lunge on his opposing number in the first half. In the second 45-minute period, James continued to move infield, but with more attacking threat from Leeds, he was caught out of position multiple times, which put the back line under pressure.

Jorginho (Central midfielder): 8/10

The Italian midfielder came into the starting line-up after missing out on the midweek game through back pain. Jorginho brought some much-needed control back in the midfield. The bronze finisher for the Ballon d’Or scored both the penalties, first to give Chelsea the lead in the 58′, and then won the game in stoppage time. By far the best Chelsea player on the pitch.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Central midfielder): 7/10

Ruben Loftus-Cheek had a below-average performance in the first half where the English midfielder’s passing in the final third was bad. He seemed very hesitant to make many forward passes. In the second half, Loftus-Cheek had a much better game where he made several good runs forward with the ball and felt more threatening to the Leeds defense.

Marcos Alonso (Left wingback): 6.5/10

The Spanish wingback gave away a clumsy penalty with an unnecessary tackle on James, but made up for his error by assisting Mount’s opener, which helped Chelsea equalize. In the second half, Alonso was very quiet and did not have much to do in either half.
