Cesar Azpilicueta (Right wingback): 6/10

Wednesday was not the best day in the office for Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta. The captain played as a right back/centerback and made some uncharacteristic errors, one of which nearly gave the opponent the chance to score. The Spaniard seemed a bit out of pace, particularly at the time when Spurs were on top during the second half. Maybe it’s just the age catching up.

Jorginho (Central midfielder): 7.5/10

The Italian midfielder had another dominant performance at the center of the midfield. The Tottenham midfield could not get a hold of the game and ended up playing catch-up for the majority of the contest. It was Jorginho’s tackle and his silky distribution of the ball that led to the opening goal of the game. He was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the 82′.

Mateo Kovacic (Central midfielder): 7/10

The Croatian midfielder alongside Jorginho was just exceptional and got the better of every Tottenham player. It was a joy to watch how easily and effortlessly Mateo Kovacic dribbled past two or three players and helped the defenders by playing from out of the back. He gave his all in the game and was substituted by N’Golo Kante in the 77′.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Left wingback): 6.5/10

After a good game against Chesterfield in the FA Cup, Callum Hudson-Odoi had a decent game one would say. But again, his questionable decision-making seemed to be his downfall. The youngster showed flashes and glimpses of what he is capable of, but his inconsistency in performances is very frustrating.

Marcos Alonso (Left wingback): 6/10

Marcos Alonso came on for Timo Werner in the 66′ but couldn’t do much to impact the game, despite having acres of space to run in behind Spurs’ open midfield.

N’Golo Kante (Central midfielder): N/A

Kante came on for Kovacic in the 77′ and calmed the game down a bit. The Frenchman got some minutes under his belt before the crucial game against Man City at the weekend.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Central midfielder): N/A

Loftus-Cheek came on for Jorginho in the 82′ and couldn’t do much to influence the game.
