Cesar Azpilicueta
With Thiago Silva left at home, it was no surprise Thomas Tuchel turned to the experience of Azpilicueta, who started on the right of the back three. Unfortunately, the club captain is a fading force and offered little in possession during the opening period. It came as no surprise that Azpilicueta was brought off at half time. With the inconsistencies of his play, could this be his last season at Chelsea? 4

Wesley Fofana
The summer signing was shifted into the middle of the back three and was caught out positionally in the lead-up to Orsic’s goal; Fofana didn’t drop off prior to Bruno Petkovic’s flick-on and wasn’t able to catch the rapid Orsic as he sprinted away into the Chelsea half to score the opening goal. As Chelsea chased down an equaliser, Fofana’s passing was a little erratic as he often tried to force the ball through spaces that simply didn’t exist. 4

Kalidou Koulibaly
A defender with a wealth of Champions League experience, Koulibaly wasn’t strong enough with his challenge on Petkovic on the halfway line prior to Orsic’s strike. Was booked in the second period for a poor challenge as Chelsea searched for a way back into the game. 4
