Attack:

Right wing: Raheem Sterling

Sterling was a menace against Bournemouth and arguably put one of his best performances in a Chelsea shirt during the midweek game. His combination with Reece James was dangerous and he often proved to be too hot to handle for Jordan Zemura.

The Englishman will look to fly high down the right side again but wont have the same support as he had last time around as Azpilicueta remains much more conservative than James when going forward.

Striker: Kai Havertz

Kai Havertz was omnipresent around the opposition box in the last game, giving Potter some evidence of his effectiveness when playing as a striker. Armando Broja’s injury and Potter’s ignorance of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a starter’s role has increased Havertz’s chances of claiming the starting role, at least until a new striker is signed.

Havertz scored a goal and assisted one in the last game and constantly kept the Bournemouth defenders busy with his pressuring. The German should get the nod ahead of Auba,

Left wing: Christian Pulisic

Christian Pulisic’s exploits were overshadowed by the fantastic performances of Sterling and Mount against Bournemouth. Pulisic didn’t do anything extraordinary but remained a dependable outlet for the Blues on the left side.

Based on his showings against Bournemouth, Pulisic deserves another start against Forest as he has the potential to be a live wire that can give constant headaches to the defenders.
