Chelsea Transfer News – Chelsea revive interest in Everton midfielder Amadou Onana
Chelsea were keen to sign Onana in the winter transfer window but the Belgian rejected a chance to join the Blues as he wanted to help the Toffees in their relegation battle. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Blues have revived their interest in the Belgian midfielder.
Onana is said to be open to a departure this time around and Everton are willing to sell the 21 year old for £55 million as they are in urgent need of cash. Mauricio Pochettino is looking to sign a midfielder who could partner Enzo Fernandez and Onana is certainly one of the options being considered.
Chelsea Transfer News – Arsenal make a proposal to sign Kai Havertz
London rivals Arsenal have made a proposal for CFC attacker Havertz, as per The Athletic. The German was closely linked with a move to Real Madrid but the deal has hit a dead end because of Real’s reluctance to pay huge fees for Havertz. The Blues are asking for £75 million from Arsenal for Havertz but the Gunners feel that CFC could be flexible on the asking price. The 24 year old is said to be keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea Transfer News – Chelsea reject opening Mason Mount bid from Manchester United
Mount is one of the priority targets for Manchester United this summer and they have been laying the groundwork to get the deal done. Personal terms between MUFC and Mount aren’t expected to be a problem as the Englishman has already agreed terms with the Manchester club. However, CFC and the Red Devils are yet to reach an agreement over a fee.
As per The Telegraph, Manchester United submitted a bid of £40 million that was straightaway rejected by the West London outfit as they hold out to their £70 million valuation.
Chelsea Transfer News – Inter Milan chief met Chelsea to discuss Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Koulibaly
Inter Milan are keen on two Chelsea players – Koulibaly and Lukaku. The Belgian striker has no intention to return to CFC and wants to extend his stay at Inter. Lukaku was also linked with a move to Saudi Arabia but Al Hilal have pulled out of the negotiations because of Lukaku’s salary expectations.
According to Get Football News Italy, Inter Milan’s sporting director was in London to discuss Lukaku’s future. Meanwhile, CFC have rejected the idea of loaning out Koulibaly to Inter Milan. In the coming days, a meeting will be held to discuss Lukaku’s future again.
