A prominent and important Chelsea star is under investigation following the wild Tottenham Hotspur game. Apparently Raheem Sterling now faces a possible ban. As always, The Pride of London seek to the facts to the best of our ability, and hopefully subsequently offer clarity and opinion for the Blues fan base.
In a strange story, Chelsea’s own social media has supposedly featured Sterling throwing something into a Spurs section of the crowd during the entertaining but overly dramatic 4-1 win. Unfortunately, the CFC winger could potentially be banned for a while if deemed guilty.
The incident is meant to have occurred as celebrations for Cole Palmer’s equalising penalty erupted. Emotions were already running high at this point of the contest. I must admit that I have an Eagle-eye for this type of situation and I didn’t see anything in that regard on television. I did notice an object appear to strike Palmer on the leg after he scored. The FA are reportedly aware and investigating.
What Roy Keane said about chaotic Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea clash
Yep, when I saw the headline about Keane’s view I was also intrigued. As were you, because you are still reading. Basically, the former Manchester United midfielder stated that he did not particularly enjoy the most recent London derby. He made the comment after a couple of red cards for the team in white, and a mind-blowing five disallowed goals overall.
Essentially ‘Keano’ believes that the quality exhibited was not up to scratch. He’d prefer to see more good football on show, according to this article. In addition to that view, the ex-Red Devil claimed ‘too much was going on’ in the frantic fixture.
I am unsure as to why Keane disagreed with the typically rational Gary Neville, though. Neville declared the first 15 minutes as a decent watch, which was obviously the case.
