An underrated Chelsea star’s value has massively increased after some standout displays. Elsewhere, The Pride of London comment as the Blues target a wonderkid. Meanwhile a former CFC youth star could join a rival of the west London club.

At least some recent performances in high profile fixtures have placed Conor Gallagher into the thoughts of England head coach Gareth Southgate. That is, along with the busy and technical midfielder having a presence in the mind of the more appreciative Chelsea supporters.

The only thing Blues fans will wish for now is a new contract for their star; a fresh deal is in the works. It is pretty much a proven fact that Gallagher statistically ran the midfield against Manchester City; that feat has assisted a rise in value. The former Crystal Palace loanee is now reportedly worth £52million. But he’s worth more to CFC by staying.

Gabriel Moscardo is a wanted man, if reports are to be believed. The promising Corinthians player, who is just 18 years old, was targeted by the English capital side in the recently past summer. Ultimately the Blues were subbed, with the Brazilian choosing to remain in his home country. The season in Brazil finishes up in December, which was a deciding factor in the apparent rejection.

Moscardo’s value may have now risen by £8m, from £18m-£26m. Premier League outfits such as Liverpool and Arsenal are supposedly interested. Chelsea are joined by Spanish giants Barcelona in monitoring the youthful player. He has played many times for the Corinthians first team and already features for Brazil’s Under-23s.

Another up-and-coming footballer, once on Chelsea’s books, is possibly heading back to the United Kingdom. ‘First and foremost’ on the lost to secure Samuel Iling-Junior’s signature are Tottenham. He was a young Blue for nine years. Now at Juventus, Iling-Junior is said to be attracting interest from his home country.
