The British transfer window might have closed but that is not the case all over the world. That means that while Chelsea cannot bring in any more players, some of their current ones could still leave. And it appears that one of them, who does not seem to be in Enzo Maresca's plans, is already drawing interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Chelsea were successful in finding new homes for most of their players. One who did end up remaining at Stamford Bridge though, is Axel Disasi. Multiple Premier League clubs tried to sign the French international but an agreement could not be found.

Now, it looks like a Saudi Pro League club are interested in signing him, as Disasi finds himself in no man's land at Stamford Bridge. Could something materialise in this situation?

As reported by Chelsea News, Neom SC are making a new push to sign Disasi for a bargain €20 million transfer fee. The player would prefer to remain in European football but has a decision to make.

This is a tough situation to be in if you are Disasi. He faces the prospect of having no football to play for the next four months, until the January transfer window opens and there is another opportunity to find a move.

He does not need to hurry into a decision just yet though. Turkey and Greece could still be attractive options for someone like Disasi, who wants to remain in European football. Their transfer windows remain open until September 12.

Also, there is a possibility that Chelsea might need to bring him back into the fold at some point. Levi Colwill could be out for the entire season with his ACL injury. And there is not much that needs to be said about the fitness record of Wesley Fofana. Benoit Badiashile has not been much better, playing 55 games in two-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge.

So, if Chelsea find themselves in a centre-back injury crisis at some point, there is a possibility they might need to rely on Disasi once again. So, the situation is pretty open at this point.
