Chelsea are back in action as soon as Tuesday night when they face European hopefuls Brighton, playing early this week due to their FA Cup semi-final taking place this weekend.

The Blues saw their Champions League hopes damaged again over the weekend when they lost to Manchester United at home, and that was before Liverpool had won over Everton.

Chelsea are now seven points behind Liverpool, and their Champions League hopes are hanging by a thread, likely having to win all of their remaining games to stand a chance, and there is no guarantee of European football of any kind at this stage.

Brentford and Bournemouth are both just goal difference behind the Blues, while this week's opponents Brighton, who are outside the European spots, are just one point worse off, making this a very dangerous game for Liam Rosenior's men.

Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding both sides ahead of the Amex Stadium clash.

Stefanos Tzimas - Out

Tzimas is out for the season with a knee injury and he is likely to return some time in September.

Adam Webster - Out

Webster is out for the season with a knee injury he suffered back in the summer. He will return in pre-season.

James Milner - Out

Milner is said to be getting close, but he is likely looking at a May return.

Solly March - Doubt

March is expected to miss out with some muscular fatigue. It would be wise to rest the winger given his recent battles with injury.

Joao Pedro - Doubt

Joao Pedro is likely to be back, but he will go down as a doubt for now. Rosenior said over the weekend: "Joao felt his thigh a few days ago. He was touch and go for this one, so hopefully we'll have him back for Brighton on Tuesday."

Enzo Fernandez - Doubt

Fernandez picked up something against Man Utd, but it's hoped it's nothing serious. Rosenior said: "I just saw him in the dressing room - I think it was his calf. I’m hoping it's cramp; he’s getting work on it right now because we want him, obviously, fit for Tuesday. He ran himself into the ground for the club tonight."

Estevao Willian - Out

It seems as though Estevao's season is over. Rosenior said after the Man Utd game: "He was crying at HT. It looks like it's his hamstring, and that has happened in a moment when he's running through on their goal for a one-v-one chance. I hope Este comes back sooner rather than later."

Levi Colwill - Out

Colwill is bidding to return before the end of the season, but he is not ready yet. Rosenior said last week: "Levi is training but still needs to overcome some hurdles in terms of selection."

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens - Out

Gittens is out until at least May with a hamstring issue he picked up a couple of weeks ago. It has been a frustrating first season at Stamford Bridge for the winger.

Trevoh Chalobah - Out

Chalobah is still expected to be out. Rosenior said last week: "Trevoh is working really, really hard and is back on the pitch." The defender will be eyeing the FA Cup semi-final or the following game.

Filip Jorgensen - Out

Jorgensen is out after he had a minor groin surgery late last month. He will likely be back in May.

Reece James - Doubt

James did not return over the weekend and he will remain a doubt here.
