With just ten more days remaining of the winter transfer window, all the clubs have stepped up their transfer operations in order to bolster their squads for the second half of the season. However, amid all this, they have now confirmed a brilliant piece of news.
Chelsea have officially announced that Ibrahim Rabbaj has put pen to paper on his first professional contract. He has committed his future to the Blues until at least 2028.
Rabbaj joined Chelsea as an Under-12 from Crystal Palace and has developed into one of the most highly-regarded talents at Cobham. The 17-year-old's numbers at the youth levels are phenomenal and he is being viewed by many as a future first-team starter.

The Moroccan wonderkid becomes the latest Chelsea academy player to sign a contract this month, following Ryan Kavuma-McQueen and Olutayo Subuloye. Rabbaj is yet to make his first-team debut, but if he maintains his impressive form, he will likely be promoted soon.
In recent years, Chelsea have been successful in promoting several Cobham talents to the first-team. The likes of Reece James, Levi Colwill and Trevoh Chalobah have established themselves as regulars. Mason Mount was viewed as a future captain before his move to Manchester United. Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George are in the mix as well.
