It is no secret that Chelsea are looking to sign a winger this summer after parting with Jadon Sancho. Jamie Gittens of Borussia Dortmund is believed to be their top transfer target in that position but agreeing a deal with the Bundesliga club has proven to be trickier than initially expected, with three offers already rejected. So, the Blues might need to keep an eye out on alternative targets.
Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United is believed to be one of them. Nico Williams was another but it looks like he has agreed verbal terms with FC Barcelona already.
Kenan Yildiz of Juventus is another player who has been linked with a move to Chelsea lately. Interestingly, it looks like the Blues have gone a step further by holding discussions although, they are not the only ones to do so.
As reported by Juve FC, Chelsea and Arsenal have both reignited their interest in Yildiz as they monitor his situation in Turin. Both clubs have re-engaged in discussions to assess whether a move for the Turkish international is possible this summer.
Chelsea and Arsenal hold talks to sign €100m Juventus player
Juventus are believed to be keen to hold on to Yildiz and have a €100 million transfer valuation. That being said, offers in the region of €70 million could be given some consideration but at the moment, there is no indication that they are open to the Turkish international leaving.
Yildiz is a versatile player capable of playing on both wings, as a second striker and even in the number 10 role. At 20 years of age, he is already a regular for Juventus.
Yildiz is producing at a high level as well. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 49 appearances for Juventus.
