If things go according to expectations, Estevao will have his name in the football record books quite often by the time his career comes to an end. It is only beginning though, and the Brazilian youngster is already on the right path. A few weeks back, he became the youngster player ever to assist a goal in the Premier League for Chelsea. Now, he has made some history with the Brazil national team.
Estevao started for Brazil in their World Cup qualifier against Chile. That just goes on to show the level he is playing at at 18 years of age. But the winger was in mood to create some history on the night.
Estevao scored Brazil's opener, a bicycle kick too. And in the process, he became Brazil’s second youngest ever goalscorer in a competitive match and the youngest since Pele in 1958.
Let's just say that Chelsea have a special talent on their hands. One can only hope that he continues on this path. He seems headed for greatness if his career does not go off track. We have seen glimpses of Estevao's quality in the Royal Blue jersey as well.

That being said, it is important not to get too far ahead of ourselves. We have to remember that this is still an 18-year-old. There will bad performances along the way.
There will be moments in which he makes the wrong decision or is not able to finish his chances. We have seen that in Chelsea's opening three games as well. One could argue that he could scored in all of them.
That being said, it is encouraging that he is already getting into those positions. Once he figures out how to get one step further and score, it will take his game to the next level. That could take a week, a year or longer than that. But it is important to trust in his talent.
