Chelsea are looking to part ways with a few more players before the summer transfer window closes in a little over two weeks. The Blues have not been very active in recent days when it comes to making signings. But players have departed left, right and centre. And there are a few more candidates to head for the exit door.

Chelsea are believed to be looking to add a number 10 to their ranks this summer, with Xavi Simons the most likely candidate. A move is believed to be dependent on the departure of Christopher Nkunku at this point.

On the other hand, another number 10 who could be headed for the Stamford Bridge exit door is Carney Chukwuemeka. But the Blues have turned down an offer for him recently.

As reported by Alex Crook, Chelsea have rejected a loan offer with an obligation worth north of £15m for Chukwuemeka. The player will be frustrated, knowing he is not in Enzo Maresca's plans.

Over the summer, there has been a lot of speculation around Chukwuemeka's future. And it is believed that Chelsea are willing to part ways with him for a transfer fee in the region of €25 million.

That is understandable, considering we have seen the likes of Armando Broja and Lesley Ugochukwu move for similar fees. And it is surprising that there has not been more interest for someone as talented as Chukwuemeka. Borussia Dortmund are believed to be interested in signing him, but will they match Chelsea's asking price?

Chukwuemeka spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and clearly did well enough for them to consider bringing him back. On the other hand, he was viewed as a key player for Chelsea early on during Mauricio Pochettino's time as manager. But then he picked up an injury and Cole Palmer made the number 10 position his own.
