Chelsea have wrapped up their pre-season campaign in convincing fashion, securing a resounding 3-1 victory over Real Sociedad. With their preparations now complete, the Blues can turn their attention to the start of the new Premier League campaign.
Chelsea’s August and September fixtures have already undergone several changes to accommodate television coverage and scheduling demands, and now the October fixture list has also been revised. Add in a Carabao Cup tie too. On Monday afternoon, it was confirmed that three of Chelsea’s October fixtures have been moved to new kick-off times.
Following the prolonged international break for the Nations League, Chelsea will return to action on October 10 when they face AFC Bournemouth at home. This fixture is not subject to change, with the game kicking off as scheduled on Saturday at 3pm.Â
The first change for Xabi Alonso’s team will be the away fixture to Everton and will be a trip to Hill Dickinson Stadium shown on TNT Sports at 12:30pm on Saturday 17 October.Â
The London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham has also been modified with the game remaining on Saturday 24 October, but with a new kick-off time of 5.30pm due to Sky Sports coverage.
The last fixture in October is Manchester United coming to town, with the game selected for live TNT coverage. The Stamford Bridge showdown comes with a 12:30 kick-off time on Saturday 31 October.Â
