Chelsea have missed out on quite a few of their transfer targets in recent years, which they might regret in the long run. The club might be keen to put things right in one of those cases though. And it would make sense, considering how well he did against the Blues in their recent Champions League meeting at the Allianz Arena.

Chelsea lost 3-1 on the night against Bayern Munich. And while he might not have gotten on the scoresheet, Michael Olise looked like a class apart, especially in the first half, when Marc Cucurella simply was not able to keep up with him.

Chelsea missed out on signing Olise last year. Instead, they ended up bringing in Pedro Neto. And while the Portuguese winger has been pretty good, the Frenchman has taken his game to another level since moving to Bayern Munich.

Now, it looks like Chelsea are once again interested in signing Olise. But they are not the only ones in the race. Other Premier League giants want the rising Bayern Munich superstar as well.

As reported by Sport Bild (via Sport Witness), Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are all said to be keen on Olise. The Premier League champions are presented as the most interested and they would be ‘very happy’ to spend €100 million on signing the player next summer.

Liverpool have been signing top players left, right and centre in recent times. But their latest losses have raised question marks about how good those additions have been to Arne Slot's team.

As for Olise, he would improve pretty much every team on the planet. One has to wonder though what signing him would mean for the future of someone like Estevao, and whether such a move would be smart on the part of Chelsea.
