Chelsea are going to face Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Club World Cup. For the Blues, it must feel good to be involved in a game of this magnitude once again, perhaps the biggest of the season. Of course, they will be heavy underdogs. Just look at what PSG did against sides like Inter Milan and Real Madrid. But never count the Pride of London out. That's all we will say.

On Sunday, both sets of players will give it their all on the pitch. But after the Club World Cup, Chelsea might be looking to sign a superstar from PSG.

As reported by L'Equipe (via The Sun), Chelsea are one of the clubs eyeing a move for Gianluigi Donnarumma. They hope to scoop the goalkeeper up after the Club World Cup final.

Donnarumma is certainly among the best goalkeepers on the planet. Chelsea missed out on Mike Maignan. But if they can pull this deal off, it would be a much bigger coup.

Donnarumma has only a year left on his contract with PSG. And it looks like clubs like Chelsea might be hoping to take advantage of that situation.

Then again, there is very little reason for Donnarumma to leave PSG right now. They are the best team in Europe by quite some distance and look primed to challenge for top prizes for years to come, as they also have a squad full of youngsters who have plenty of room for growth.

That being said, anything can happen in football, especially when Premier League clubs come calling. No matter how well PSG do, the French league is never going to have the most eyeballs on it. Donnarumma already has four Ligue 1 titles in his cabinet. How many more does he need before considering a different challenge in his career?
