The countdown is on for football gamers, with the release of FC 27 now little more than a month away. Ahead of its release on September 25, Chelsea’s player ratings have been revealed, with a few shocks along the way.
Following the release of Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea ratings, the women’s team will be pleased to see several of the best players in the women’s game receive ratings of 85 or higher. However, avid Chelsea fans may be surprised to see none of their stars ranked among the best players in the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL).
Following the exodus from Barcelona Femení to London City Lionesses, alongside the standout performances from champions Manchester City last season, several of Sonia Bompastor’s players find themselves further down the rankings.

Hannah Hampton is Chelsea’s highest-rated player at 87, with new signing Katie McCabe following closely behind on 86. However, the Blues’ strength lies in their squad depth, with Lucy Bronze, Ellie Carpenter, Keira Walsh, Erin Cuthbert, Sandy Baltimore, Lauren James and Alyssa Thompson all rated 85. That depth underlines why Chelsea remain one of the strongest teams in the WSL.
