The Chelsea fan base is really excited for Estevao to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer. A year ago, it was revealed that the Blues had agreed a deal with Palmeiras for the 18-year-old Brazilian supertalent and he has only grown as a player since then, and even broken some of Neymar's records.

Estevao appears to be worth all the hype surrounding his arrival, as the Blues did quite well to acquire one of the top talents in world football right now. Other than Lamine Yamal, it is hard to think of somebody in his age bracket who has this kind of expectations surrounding them.

Chelsea consider the Brazilian a generational talent, and he has been showing why. Palmeiras defeated Ceara 3-0 recently in the Copa do Brasil, with Estevao scoring twice.

Following that impressive performance, Estevao was asked about his impending move to Chelsea. He told ge globo:

"Feeling of gratitude, because at the same time that I’m leaving here, I’m going to live a dream. I’m trying to enjoy this place as much as possible, because I’m going to miss it."

The Brazilian trickster has long been a Palmeiras standout. Estevao has made 75 appearances for the team, tallying 25 goals and 14 assists. The young Brazilian forward, who can play anywhere on the front line, will bring a wealth of quality to Chelsea, even at 18 years.

After Estevao scored two goals in midweek, Palmeiras assistant manager Vitor Castanheira was showering praise on him. He said: “It is a fact that we are going to lose an excellent player, the future of Brazil, but we will think about this in due time.

“Deciding the game isn’t just about scoring a goal, you have to look at the whole thing. A player of his age, with the level of performance he has, that’s why someone from Europe came to get a 17-year-old boy who is brutal."

Estevao really is a unique talent. He is just 18 years old and has already earned four senior international caps for Brazil. He is ranked second behind Yamal on NXGN's list of the top 50 teenage football prospects, just a glimpse at the type of potential that will soon be arriving at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans must be quite delighted to see all these statistics and accolades for their new signing. We are eager to see what the Brazilian teenager can accomplish when he joins the Blues next season.

Most believe that Estevao will not be a key player for Chelsea from the off, but there is no reason he can't be. With Cole Palmer recently proclaiming Yamal as the best player in the world, it should be very clear that age is just a number.

In fact, there might be a door of opportunity open for Estevao at Chelsea. Neither Noni Madueke nor Pedro Neto have really been able to nail down the starting spot on that right flank. Can the Brazilian come in and make it his own?
