Chelsea took a significant step toward securing a Champions League spot with their recent 1-0 win over Manchester United. Now, it all comes down to the final day of the season. The Blues need to beat Nottingham Forest in their own backyard to qualify for Europe's elite competition. That is a difficult task but Enzo Maresca's side must believe.

As this season draws to a close, some of the focus is slowly shifting to the upcoming transfer window as well. The club are aiming to make several new signings to bolster key areas of the squad. At the same time, they are planning to part with a number of players to generate funds for these new arrivals.

The Blues are expected to say goodbye to up to 10 players to ensure compliance with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). Some loanees and underperforming squad members are likely to bid farewell to Stamford Bridge.

Unfortunately, the name of a former Chelsea academy graduate has appeared among those expected to be shown the exit door. Armando Broja is a player many fans hoped would succeed in the blue jersey. However, he has failed to meet expectations and it might be time to part ways.

The 23-year-old was sent to Everton on a season-long loan before the start of this season. But Broja has failed to find the back of the net even once in his 11 appearances for the Toffees. The forward has also suffered from various injuries. Unsurprisingly, he is not expected to extend his stay in Merseyside.

Once Broja returns, Chelsea have decided to find him a new home. Various clubs are reportedly interested in the player, including Premier League clubs.

According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United are believed to be on a list of clubs that will be offered Broja. He was watched by The Magpies over a year ago.

In the past, Chelsea had wanted £30 million for Broja's transfer. It is unlikely that that is still in place after his terrible loan stint at Everton.
