There is a lot of change that has already happened at Chelsea this summer.
Not only has Xabi Alonso been appointed the Blues' new manager, but several players have already moved on with others arriving.
However, despite the number of changes already, for one player, there is still plenty of uncertainty over where he'll be playing his football next season.
Liam Delap told to leave Chelsea
Liam Delap will know his opening campaign at Stamford Bridge didn't go to plan, but Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has become the latest big name to remind him how important next season is in his career.
Although the 23-year-old suffered an injury soon after joining Chelsea, he managed just one goal in 28 Premier League appearances, and Hasselbaink has warned he cannot afford to have the same kind of season next time out.
"He needs football,” he told WhoScored (via Liverpool Echo).
“He cannot have another season like he had last season at Chelsea.
“And if that means he needs to go out on loan or whatsoever, he needs to do that because he is too young to sit on the bench.
“He needs to kickstart his career again, score goals, and get that feeling again because every time he played for Chelsea, it felt a little bit like he was up against it."
Delap must rediscover his best form
Delap has been heavily linked with a move to Everton with Spurs also mentioned as 'ones to watch'.
“Even though I think that he's a very good player, and even though I think he can become a top-four club kind of striker, he needs games," Hasselbaink added.
"He needs to get the confidence of the manager that says, 'Don't worry with the first or second, just go and play'.
“And I think Chelsea's been in a space where they couldn't give him five games in a row because they needed goals straight away, so that's why they have been starting with Pedro.
“And that is, in a way, the problem at a big club: you don't get the time. You're not going to be given five games in a row, so he needs another year where he plays 30-odd matches and from there, build on his career again."
The former England under-21 international still has five years left on his contract so a potential loan move this summer feels like the most realistic outcome.
Should Delap leave west London, his main aim will be to rediscover his form and remind the Blues why they paid £40 million for him 12 months ago.
