Chelsea are going into next season with a brand new look up front, as they have already added two new strikers in the form of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. The Brazilian international has already impressed fans with his performances at the Club World Cup, scoring thrice in two starts, including a chipped goal over Gianluigi Donnarumma in the final. The Englishman has also performed quite well and gives Enzo Maresca a different kind of option.

Chelsea are unlikely to add any more forwards to the squad this summer, although a few of the current ones could be on their way out. This includes last season’s primary number 9, Nicolas Jackson, who is expected to lose his starting spot moving forward.

As a result, the Senegal international has been linked with a number of clubs recently who could take the player away from Stamford Bridge. Manchester United have been heavily linked with Jackson in recent weeks.

Now, recent reports have added another club to the list. According to The Telegraph, Juventus want to move out Dusan Vlahovic and if they do, then there is every likelihood that the Italian club will target Jackson. Sources believe they would be able to pay around £60m for a new striker if the Serbian left and the Senegal international's wages would not be prohibitive.

Juventus could reportedly target Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson

Jackson’s career at Stamford Bridge never really reached the heights that were initially expected. He has delivered world-class performances on some occasions but lacked the consistency that is a must at a club like Chelsea.

Last season, Jackson registered just 13 goals, which is 5 fewer than Cole Palmer’s tally despite the latter operating in the number 10 role and struggling for form in the second half of the campaign. These figures pretty much sum up the time the striker has had.

Apart from Juventus, clubs like Manchester United, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Jackson as well. To be honest, he doesn’t appear to have a bright future at Chelsea, especially with the arrival of two fresh faces up front. A move away could be just what he needs.
