It would be safe to say that Liverpool will be the favourites when they take on Chelsea this weekend. The Blues have been shaky throughout the campaign and are yet to win a single game convincingly. Of course, they have not been helped by the number of injury problems they have had to deal with, but that's just the nature of the game, and they deserve a fair share of the blame for not replacing players who had picked up long-term injuries before the summer window had closed.
That being said, Liverpool have had their issues lately as well. While they are leading the Premier League title race, they have lose a few games recently as well and are not unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination.
And it looks like they will be without one of their most important players when they take on Chelsea. As reported by football.london, Arne Slot has confirmed that Alisson will miss this weekend's fixture after picking up a knock in Turkey.
As a result, this looks set to be Giorgi Mamardashvili's debut in the Premier League. These are tough conditions for him though, and it will be interesting to see how he performs on the occasion.

The issue is, Chelsea are not producing enough on either end of the pitch at this point in time. They have been terrible at the back without Levi Colwill. In goal, there is not much new left to say. Robert Sanchez is not consistent enough and always has a mistake in the locker. As for Filip Jorgensen, he just does not seem good enough when it comes to dealing with the physicality of the English game. On top of that, their players continue to pick up red cards for fun, making things harder for Enzo Maresca.
On the opposite end, they do not even have an out-and-out striker. Joao Pedro is the closest thing to a centre-forward that the Blues have right now, although he is at his best when dropping deep and playing with a focal point. On the other hand, it is quite clear that Maresca does not have a lot of trust in Marc Guiu, which is why he has been playing Tyrique George up top when the Brazilian international is not on the pitch.
On the wings, nobody is really producing enough in terms of goals and assists. So, players needs to raise their games all over the pitch, if Chelsea are to bring their season back on track.
