Many Chelsea fans feel that the club might be stuck in a cycle of mediocrity at the moment. They took steps in the right direction towards the end of last season but once again find themselves in a bad spot this time around, largely due to injuries. Now, it remains to be seen if the Blues can get their campaign back on track in the near future and compete for silverware.
While for Chelsea this has been the case for the past few years, Manchester United have been in this cycle for more than a decade. And they have even gone out and signed experienced and proven winners like Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro, Raphael Varane, Edinson Cavani and more. But nothing has worked out for them.
Despite the poor performances, it looks like the club are ready to stick with Ruben Amorim. They have a target on their minds who is also wanted by Chelsea.
As reported by Fichajes, Manchester United are ready to launch a €90 million bid for Kenan Yildiz. They are ready to compete head-to-head with clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal and are willing to outbid rivals.
Manchester United readying €90m bid for Chelsea target
We have seen Yildiz being linked with Chelsea for quite some time now. The Blues have made it a habit of signing the top talents from around the world and he certainly falls under that category.
In fact, Yildiz might very well be the face of this new Juventus project. As a result, the Turin-based club are clearly not keen to part ways with him unless an offer too good to turn down is put on their table.
Would Chelsea be willing to shell out €90 million to sign Yildiz? Well, if convinced, they have shown that they can go to those lengths to secure signings. Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are prime examples of that, both costing the club north of £100 million.
