A lot seems to be happening at and around Chelsea at the moment. The Blues have already completed three signings this summer, bringing in Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens. It remains to be seen what their next move will be in this transfer window. On the other hand, there are quite a few players who could be headed for the Stamford Bridge exit door.
Most of those departures would be expected. But in some cases, they might come out of the Blue, pardon the pun.
One such instance is the situation surrounding Noni Madueke right now. A key player for Chelsea last season, he now finds himself on the verge of a potential Stamford Bridge exit that not many would have predicted, especially as he continues to be involved in Enzo Maresca's plans at the Club World Cup.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are set to send an opening bid for Madueke after reaching an agreement on personal terms. The England international has committed to a five-year deal valid until June 2030.

In the past, Chelsea and Arsenal have been very successful when it comes to agreeing on terms for the transfer of players. The likes of Kai Havertz, Jorginho, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Petr Cech, Willian, David Luiz and plenty of others have made the move. Could Madueke be next?
Madueke joined Chelsea from PSV in 2023. He has done a decent job, developing his game at Stamford Bridge but with Estevao coming in, perhaps he sees the writing on the wall. Pedro Neto is ahead of him in the pecking order as well.
Then again, a move to Arsenal would be interesting. It is hard to imagine that he would be a starter there ahead of Bukayo Saka.
Chelsea could bring in a straight replacement and have been linked with Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri recently. Mohammed Kudus of West Ham United is also another player believed to be on their radar this summer.
