Chelsea's wishlist of 4 strikers revealed as preferences named amid deliberations

Chelsea's transfer wishlist concerning strikers, which includes four targets, has now been revealed. With the preferences now named, The Pride of London offer a verdict on the options. Meanwhile Blues bosses, recruitment staff and the head coach deliberate over signing just one of the centreforward quartet.

According to Football Insider sources, the Blues have narrowed down their selection of potential No.9s to a list of four. An extended transfer wishlist, if you will.

Though, at these prices and with one man wanting to become the supreme choice up top for CFC, only one is likely to be signed. This PoL writer will choose his favourite. But first of all, which stars or starlets are actually in the group?

Chelsea's quartet of striker targets - which one is the superior choice?

In all honesty, most Chelsea fans - in fact, pretty much any football enthusiast including non-Blues - could probably guess the first pair. Yep, you've got it: Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Brentford centreforward Ivan Toney. With Toney respectfully entering the prime of his sporting life, both having contracts in place after the current season ends and earning high price tags, the west Londoners must pick between them.

Well, that is the case if Osimhen or Toney actually want to play at Stamford Bridge. Rumour has it that the former is interested. The latter is surely concentrating on his Bees return following a lengthy ban. I still advocate a summer move for the Nigerian forward. If the Englishman can be secured this month, that might be a coup for CFC.

The final duo listed as potentially ideal candidates to lead the Blues line are Evan Ferguson and Victor Boniface. Boniface is becoming prolific; a lack of proper Champions experience is a concern. Ferguson, however, has the profile modern Chels' appear to desire.
