Current Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca has been tipped to make some significant signings if he takes over at Chelsea Football Club. A Manchester City goalkeeper, a Leicester City midfielder and a high profile Serie A striker have all been proposed in a potentially thrilling new Blues lineup for next season.

In addition to looking at that story, there is another matter involving a quality unattached centreback. Will Tosin Adarabioyo also be making his way to Stamford Bridge and threatening established defenders' places in the starting XI. Is he a good prospective acquisition worth the supposed massive money offered by Premier League clubs? The Pride of London opine.

Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea - The Pride of London's verdict

Until Adarabioyo gets to showcase his skills for an eilte team in the Premier League or European-level competition, it is difficult to know just how good he truly is. I would assert, however, that the mountain of a man (at six-foot-five-inches) is perhaps in fact the real deal.

What caught my attention most when researching the defender and watching him last season was his incredible anticipation of where an attack is heading. He will also head, kick or lay his body on the line to block a dangerous ball at all costs. But there is definitely a composed and cultured side to the Englishman's game too.

As he is a former Manchester City youth player, Adarabioyo is adept at carrying the ball and playing neat or reaching forward passes. Being calm in possession even with multiple opponents surrounding is a factor that only eminent players are blessed with on the pitch.

According to reports from Football Insider sources, Newcastle United shall up their bid for Adarabioyo. This is supposedly due to the west Londoners rivalling the Magpies for their evident target. It may be unwise for the Blues to offer 'huge' wages, yet this is arguably a promising link as PoL see it.

How Chelsea might lineup in 2024/25 with several signings under the guidance of possible new head coach Enzo Maresca

Even though another reasonable candidate for tenure has headed out of the door after a long line of unwanted CFC bosses at the Bridge, it is technically an exciting time for CFC. If we believe a plethora of reports circulating, Enzo Maresca will take the Blues throne.

Is the 44-year-old qualified for this challenging appointment? Maybe, maybe not. Yet he appears eager. The Chelsea starting side may also benefit from potential changes, some of which are highlighted below:

"SunSport exclusively revealed last week that Chelsea are ready to make a surprise £20m bid for Burnley and England keeper James Trafford - who was under contract at Manchester City until last summer.

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is another main target for the Blues as he continues to be linked with a Premier League switch.

Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo is also receiving interest from Chelsea.

But Maresca could make his mark on transfers outside of those the club have already set their sights on. (Rico Lewis and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are then shown in a feasible XI alongside the aforementioned group and current Blues stars such as Cole Palmer)"
