PoL have said it before and we'll say it again - selling James, in spite of an atrocious injury record, is not the correct prospective decision for the west London club. Despite only playing in eight Premier League matches this season, the Blues skipper is as high calibre as defenders come. When fit and on his day, he is a colossal fullback.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is apparently in contact with los Blancos about a possible trade for a Liverpool target. Federico Valverde is a class act, yet relinquishing James isn't the answer. The deal is said to be taking shape. PoL is unconvinced.
Who is Benjamin Sesko and are Chelsea interested?
Sesko is a young yet imposing centreforward at 20 years of age. There are supposedly a number of elite long-term admirers of the RB Leipzig man. They include Man Utd, Arsenal and Newcastle United. There is a chance that he might be available in the upcoming January transfer window; Chels' could turn to the six foot four inches athlete rather than Napoli star Osimhen or Brentford hitman Toney.
Lois Openda currently occupies the No.9 spot with the German outfit, meaning few opportunities for his Slovenian teammate. This scenario led to speculation. And, I presume, discontent from the backup player and intrigue regarding a potential next move. PoL would prefer and expect CFC to realistically target Osimhen or Toney as opposed to a slightly unproven different option.
