All does not seem well between Real Madrid and Vinicius Jr at the moment. At least that is what it looks like from the outside looking in. The Brazilian has been out of form for months now. And even after the departure of Xabi Alonso, the rumours regarding the winger's future at Santiago Bernabeu have not gone away. Is a move to Chelsea on the cards?

Vinicius' current deal at Real Madrid is believed to be running out in the summer of 2027. And talks over an extension are said to have stalled according to several outlets in Spain, which has added to the confusion regarding his long-term future with Los Blancos.

His performances on the pitch have done nothing to dispel the rumours. He looks like a shadow of the player who was once considered the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or.

According to Football365, now reports in Spain are claiming that Vinicius has ‘already agreed’ a deal to leave Real Madrid for Chelsea in the summer for €150 million. It goes on to read:

"The Brazil international ‘already has an agreement in place to become their star player next summer’ and Chelsea are ‘prepared to make a historic bid, offering €150 million to convince Real Madrid and complete one of the biggest transfers in history’."

Of course, it is not hard to see why Real Madrid might be willing to accept a bid in that region for a player with just a year left on his deal and completely out of form. But would Chelsea be open to making such a move?

Chelsea have been completely focused on signing youngsters under the new ownership, overlooking the need for experience and proven quality. So, a move for Vinicius would not fit that transfer policy, that is for sure.

Also, why would Vinicius join Chelsea at this point in time? If the Brazilian does end up leaving Real Madrid, one would imagine that there would be no lack of suitors. On the other hand, the Blues have struggled to even finish in the Champions League spots in recent years.
