Chelsea FC Transfer Rumours: Raphael Varane, Paul Pogba, More!
The transfer season is in full swing, so let’s take a look at what transfer rumours concerning Chelsea FC are flying around the press this morning.
Paul Pogba
Chelsea are set to go in with a mega bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. Evidently invigorated by the somewhat miraculous heist of Pedro, Roman Abramovich has made sufficient funds available for a Pogba offer worth £72million. The Blues have apparently already had an opening bid of £55million rejected but are willing to go further to make the talented Frenchman a Chelsea player. This could be the final piece of the puzzle that could make the Champions League push realistic.
"Abramovich had indicated he would not be willing to pay more than £60m for the 22-year-old France midfielder, but manager Jose Mourinho is so keen to have Pogba in his line-up that Chelsea will now make one final bid during this transfer window to break the Italian club’s resolve. – The Express"

Juan Cuadrado
Cuadrado is closing in on a Stamford Bridge exit as he has reportedly been pictured en route to Italy. Rumours have recently suggested that a loan deal with Juventus was in place for the Colombian, and the latest reports seem to confirm them. Cuadrado has sucked so far in West London and will most probably be relieved by the move back to the country where he made his name with Fiorentina.

Victor Moses
Victor Moses may be another winger leaving Chelsea during this transfer window. The arrival of Pedro, and now of Kenedy, has raised doubts over his future at Stamford Bridge and the Nigerian is supposedly in talks with West Ham with regard to a permanent deal. The Hammers are considering an offer worth £7million for the winger, but Chelsea value the player around £10million. I, for one, will be disappointed to see him let go.

Raphael Varane
In a rumour that may well be straight out of the pipe-dream drawer, Raphael Varane is apparently eyeing a move to Stamford Bridge. The extremely talented centre-back is thought to be concerned about his playing opportunities under Rafa Benitez at Real Madrid and is keen to make the switch to West London. I’m not certain that this has any weight about it, but you can always hope I guess.
