Chelsea FC are set for a summer of much transfer activity as Antonio Conte rebuilds a flailing squad. Here are five players who need to impress the new boss.

With Antonio Conte officially announced as the next man to take the Stamford Bridge hotseat, he has a mammoth task on his hands. Chelsea FC have been woeful this season with several squad members underperforming in a significant manner. As a result, many players may be moved on over the summer.

The Blues are due a drastic rebuild ahead of the next campaign. Having failed to bring in suitable talent last summer, Chelsea are playing catch-up with their Premier League and European rivals. There are fears that the club will not yet be ready to challenge for the title even if a number of world-class footballers arrive.

For the current squad, though, many will view these last few weeks as an audition. Conte will be watching closely, evaluating the contracted players as he decides which ones he wants to keep and which ones he want to sell. Here are five who desperately need to impress the new boss.
