Callum Hudson-Odoi (Right Winger): 7/10

Callum Hudson Odoi again had a good game today but had nothing to show for it again. In the first half, the English youngster had plenty of energy but couldn’t get the better of the Burnley defenders. But this changed in the second half as he played centrally with Kai Havertz and should have done better with a close-range effort to make it 2-0 and give the team a much-needed cushion. But again, Hudson-Odoi couldn’t have much effect on the game.

Kai Havertz (Left Winger): 7.5/10

Kai Havertz scored his first goal of the season at home in the Premier League today by heading a pinpoint cross from Reece James in the net in the first half. The German international had a few good chances in the second half to extend the lead but was mostly quiet in the second half.

Ross Barkley (Striker?): 7.5/10

Ross Barkley made his first start for Chelsea this season after regularly making appearances from the bench and did not fail to impress the manager. The English midfielder had a whole host of chances and failed to convert any of them, taking a total of four shots on goal of which none were on target. Barkley even created five key passes but his lack of composure inside the box to score cost Chelsea the match. Barkley was replaced by Ruben Loftus Cheek in the 72nd minute.

Ruben Loftus Cheek (Sub): 6/10

Ruben Loftus Cheek came on for Barkley in the 72nd minute and had plenty of drive from the midfield but couldn’t impact the game much.

Mason Mount (Sub): N/A

Mason Mount came on for N’Golo Kante in the 85th minute and didn’t have much time to impact the game.

Christian Pulisic (Sub): N/A

Christian Pulisic came on for Callum Hudson Odoi in the 85th minute and didn’t have much time to impact the game.
