Mason Mount (No. 19) Right winger, England

A number of Chelsea players have been underperforming in the past few games, but if there’s one man who has been at the top of his game, it’s the young phenom, Mount. The Englishman has been absolutely brilliant in recent contests as he looks to have finally put his rough patch behind him. The 22-year-old had a tough start to the campaign, but he has scored six goals and created four goals in the Premier League this year. The Blues will need Mount to lead from the front as the club goes through the busy festive seasons with many injuries.

Romelu Lukaku (No. 9) Striker, Belgium

Romelu Lukaku had been out for a while with an injury—nearly two months—before just recently getting back into the swing of things. He scored a goal against Zenit in the Champions League and must have gained a lot of confidence from finally finding the back of the net. Tuchel opted to start Kai Havertz against Leeds, and the German didn’t really impress. The Blues could start the game with the former Everton man leading the attack. This is the perfect match for the Belgian to score a couple of goals and gain some momentum as the Toffees have been poor at the back this year.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (No. 20) Left winger, England

Chelsea’s attack has looked extremely dangerous with Callum Hudson-Odoi on the left wing in recent weeks. The Englishman started many games consecutively and performed due to injuries. While he has been relatively poor with his finishing, his ability to dribble through a defence gives the Blues an extra dimension in the attack. With players like Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic finding form, Hudson-Odoi will have to make his mark in the limited chances that he gets going forward this campaign.
