Chelsea are gearing up for a busy summer as the swirl of ins and outs is expected to continue. The squad overhaul under the ownership of Toddy Boehly is taking shape and a number of current players are expected to leave the Blues. Chelsea striker Armando Broja may not be on the list of expendables but he surely has suitors interested in him.

Chelsea’s priority in the summer will be to sign a lethal striker as the Blues have been deprived of a reliable and clinical No.9 for a long time. Graham Potter doesn’t trust Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the Gabonese is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer. The 33 year old came close to leaving the Blues in January but a move did not materialize.

CFC are planning their future project without Romelu Lukaku who is currently on loan at Inter Milan. After failing to recreate the same mojo at Chelsea, following his transfer from Inter, Lukaku was loaned back to the Nerrazzuri last summer on a simple loan deal with no option to buy. The Blues hoped that the Belgian would regain his lost touch and Inter would eventually sit down for talks over a permanent deal.

So far, Inter have made it clear that Lukaku will return to Chelsea following the expiry of his loan deal at the end of the season. The burly forward has netted just five goals for Inter this season and has struggled with injuries. The Serie A outfit do not see Lukaku as a strong option for their future but there is another Chelsea player that Inter are interested in.

According to Calciomercato, Inter Milan are showing interest in Chelsea forward Broja, who is currently sidelined with an ACL injury until the end of the season. The Nerrazzuri are exploring the possibility of signing Broja in the summer transfer window.

Inter could lose forwards in the summer transfer window. Lukaku is set to return to Chelsea, Edin Dzeko’s deal expires in the summer, leaving the Italians with scarce options in attack. The Albanian striker could a viable option for Inter Milan.

Broja is currently sidelined but once he is fit, he will be trusted as a backup striker to the forward that Chelsea sign in the summer. David Datro Fofana is expected to leave on loan and Lukaku will be offloaded, perhaps, the Blues will have to cut their losses on the Belgian.
