Where is Mauricio Pochettino?

It comes to no surprise that the former PSG, and Tottenham gaffer is close to finalizing a move back to the English capital. Reports been suggesting that the west London club and the Argentine has already reached a verbal agreement but are just finishing up the smaller details.

At the end of the current campaign, Pochettino will most likely succeed Frank Lampard, who has served as interim manager. Since leaving his position at Paris Saint-Germain last summer, the Argentine has been jobless and a return to Tottenham had been suggested. The north London club has recently been rejected by Julian Nagelsmann earlier this week and could possibly turn their heads to their former manager, who took the club to the Champions League final for the first time in their history. Reports stated that the former Spurs manager was waiting for that call from Levy but it never rang.

With Frank Lampard not getting the best out of the squad, I think it’s best for the board to at least show some sort of progression, and some clarity on what’s the hold up by announcing this appointment to the public, rather than delaying it and potentially getting hijacked.
