Ajax's Mika Godts is one of Europe's most sought after attackers.

The young forward is being tracked by nearly all the big clubs, including Chelsea, who sent scouts to watch him in action this weekend.

The young Belgian's latest eye-catching performance saw him score Ajax's second during a 2-0 away win over NAC Breda, and it wasn't just a typical goal.

Chelsea scouts stunned by Mika Godts' latest performance

Godts picked the ball up in his own half just minutes before half time and went on a mazing run which saw him coast past five players before sliding the ball beyond opposition goalkeeper Daniel Bielica.

Unsurprisingly, his form has caught the attention of Europe's big boys ahead of what looks like an important summer in his career.

The forward's amazing solo effort was witnessed by scouts all around the continent. According to TEAMtalk, the Blues' recruitment department were joined by scouts from Arsenal, Newcastle, Spurs, Manchester United, Liverpool and Barcelona.

Likely to be the subject of at least one transfer offer this summer, Godts could very well find himself at the centre of a multi-club battle for his signature.

Ajax's number 11, who has already been compared to Eden Hazard, has three years left on his contract.

Nicolas Jackson to return but Liam Delap's time at Chelsea almost over

Chelsea have failed to get their attacking signings right in recent years. Nicolas Jackson has spent the season on loan at Bayern Munich but will return to Stamford Bridge soon.

Joao Pedro hasn't been a bad signing, but he's by no means a natural central striker capable of netting 30 goals a season. And then there's Liam Delap...

The 23-year-old has been arguably the biggest flop of the season. He's suffered some unfortunate injuries but there are no excuses for scoring just one Premier League goal in 25 appearances.

It is for that reason that BlueCo look set to cut the struggling forward loose and will replace him with a more suitable player, and that could be Godts.

Although Godts came through Anderlecht and then Genk's youth academies, it has been at Ajax where he has made his name. Thrust into the first team, the 20-year-old, who has scored 16 goals already this season, is showing immense promise.

Of course, the Eredivisie is a different beast compared to the Premier League, but there's no doubting the youngster is doing all the right things at the moment.
