Xabi Alonso has begun work the new Chelsea manager and is looking to overhaul the squad in time for the new 2026-27 season.
The Blues have already cashed in on several players, including Andrey Santos, who recently joined Manchester United in a deal worth £50 million.
Marc Cucurella and Tyrique George have also moved on with the pair signing for Real Madrid and Everton, respectively.
And there looks set to be more players moving on before the close of the window.
Premier League club could sign Marc Guiu
Marc Guiu has been a peripheral figure ever since he joined from Barcelona two years ago.
The 20-year-old arrived in west London with huge potential but, due to circumstances and bad luck, has failed to break into the Blues' first team.
Guiu expected to spend last season on loan with Sunderland before an injury to Liam Delap forced his parent club to recall him. He spent most of the campaign as an unused substitute and according to journalist Ben Jacobs is set to leave again this summer.
Speaking on the 'London is Blue' podcast, Jacobs said: "I think it's not impossible that Marc Guiu is sold permanently. Sunderland are still interested, having had him on loan and then sent him back, but there's other clubs as well.
"Ipswich could be another one to watch, and I'd heard that Fiorentina quite like the player too, so he will be quite easy for Chelsea to offload because they only signed him for £5 million."
Guiu has three years left on his contract with Chelsea retaining an option to add another year.
The young Spaniard is valued around £10 million, but it remains to be seen if any club is prepared to spend that much on a player still yet to prove himself.
Xabi Alonso clearly prefers Nicolas Jackson
Nicolas Jackson is another striker who has faced an uncertain future.
The Senegal international spent last season on loan with Bayern Munich, but despite doing well whenever needed to cover for Harry Kane, the Bundesliga champions decided against signing him permanently.
As a result, the African has returned to Stamford Bridge and, to many fans' surprise, is set to be given a second chance under Alonso.
Speaking recently about welcoming Jackson back, the new Chelsea manager said: "He is joining in the tour that we are starting in Asia and I am looking forward to start with Nico at that time."
Unlike Guiu, Jackson has proved himself in Europe's big leagues. The 25-year-old has averaged a goal or an assists every other game for Chelsea, forming a particularly effective partnership with Cole Palmer.
