Chelsea's most outstanding player, Cole Palmer, has revealed his main worry in football. The one-time Pep Guardiola protégé is currently setting the standard at Stamford Bridge. That was after Manchester City decided to allow their top starlet to leave and join the Blues. Since then the attacker has gone on to become undroppable for the west Londoners and the England National Team. But the soon-to-be undeniably generational footballer isn't infallible at all, he does make occasional mistakes on the pitch. And presumably away from the game as well. The 22-year-old certainly isn't invincible. So, what is the CFC star most afraid of in the sport?

In addition to our usual look at all things Palmer and Chels, we our happy to report and offer our view on a supposed new contract for Malo Gusto. At this point, the update is only speculation. Though Chelsea would be wise to push this important piece of business regarding the Frenchman through as soon as possible. That's if you ask us, Gusto is one of the most exciting young full backs around.

Meanwhile the Stamford Bridge outfit are apparently eyeing a takeover of their own. Only this time an entire continent is reportedly on CFC bosses' minds. That's right, the English capital side have supposed "grand plans" which will "make Africa blue". What have Chels been up to here? Further details will be revealed regarding this intriguing claim in the media.

Chelsea Football Club would like to make Africa blue - report

Football clubs, and other sporting outfits, constantly wish to develop and improve. This includes taking over new turf with the aim to win the hearts and minds of local inhabitants. Turning new countries, and even continental fans, into supporters of specific sides.

On this occasion, CFC have turned their attention to Africa. But they aren't recruiting further support for the team. No. They are after players:

"Their striker now is Nicolas Jackson, a Senegalese arrived via Villarreal in Spain at a cost of £32m. But really, Chelsea would rather cut out that costly middleman by recruiting straight from the source.

In the summer, they hired Seyi Olofinjana, the former Wolves midfielder who won 48 caps for Nigeria, to oversee their African scouting operation. Achirou Gaoh was also brought in to work alongside him as they aim to spy the potential of starlets before anyone else in Europe.

Mail Sport can reveal all of Chelsea's first- team recruiters met up in Surrey earlier this month. They convened from their various corners of the globe with the purpose of this scouting summit."

Fresh Malo Gusto agreement?

Retaining Gusto for longer than originally set out is a great idea. With captain Reece James unavailable once again, the 21-year-old is even more vital to Enzo Maresca's lineup. The former has also earned his pay rise.

"According to TBR, the Blues are now prepared to offer a new contract to the Frenchman to reward him for his excellent start to life in West London."

Cole Palmer's big question

Palmer was recently asked, on a red carpet, if he would "rather be subbed in the first-half or score an own goal?". He replied in typically open fashion:

"Own goal. When you get subbed in the first-half, it's damaged you. It's never happened to me, touch wood."
