Chelsea leaves the Stamford Bridge with only one point after a fast-paced affair against Nottingham Forest with the match ending with a goal for each side.

In the first half, Nottingham Forest put up a strong defensive effort, stopping Chelsea's attacks. Although Chelsea managed to break through a few times, they couldn't convert their opportunities. One notable moment was when Madueke made a fantastic run and set up Palmer, whose shot was saved off the line.

Forest started the second half with a bang taking the lead in the 49th minute, Chris Wood broke the deadlock by scoring against the Blues for the first time in 12 matches.

The Blues wasted no time in responding, as Noni Madueke made a dazzling run, cutting inside, and unleashing a spectacular shot to the bottom left corner of the net.

The Tricky Trees went down to 10 men in the 77th minute thanks to a second yellow from Ward-Prowse who stopped Jackson’s fast-break attempt using his hands, Palmer was almost able to capitalize on it in the 87th minute to give Chelsea the lead but failed to score.

The referee added 13 minutes of added time, really fast-paced with a lot of chances from both teams but a great showing from both goalkeepers made sure both teams earned a point.

Chelsea’s Standout Performers

Noni Madueke

Madueke was on fire throughout the match, being Chelsea’s most dangerous man, making great runs, creating chances, and scoring one of his own, the Englishman stood out and in my personal opinion was Man of the Match.

Robert Sanchez

The Spanish goalkeeper didn't have much to do for most of the game, but when he was called he answered, especially late in the match when he made incredible saves that could've made Chelsea lose the game.

Cole Palmer

Chelsea’s superstar with another brilliant performance, assisting Chelsea’s only goal and creating the most chances throughout the match with six.

Mykhaylo Mudryk

The Ukrainian talent wasn't given a lot of minutes, but looked good in the minutes he did play, creating Chelsea’s best chance later on making a run, and giving Nkunku a perfect cross that the Frenchman failed to convert.

The Pride Of London can take away some positives from today’s game, but Enzo Maresca must be disappointed dropping points at home in a match he shouldve won on paper. The Blues still sit fourth on the Premier League table, but if they want to keep that position or even push for the title they can't continue to drop points in games like these anymore this season.
