Chelsea currently possess midfielders who are some of the best in the business. Be it the “coldest ever” Cole Palmer or the ever dependable Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, everyone has been performing on top of their game recently and are expected to do the same in the future as well. If anything, they should improve thanks to their recent experiences.

Meanwhile, the club have also added youngster Andrey Santos to the squad. So it’s fair to say that Chelsea’s midfield is stacked with top players right now. However, this has caused some of the other midfielders at the club to get limited game time.

It’s possible that those players might choose to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. And one of them is being linked with a short trip.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is one of the players who might end up leaving this summer, and it seems that there is already a potential suitor for the 26-year-old midfielder. According to Sky Sports, a formal approach is expected from Fulham to Chelsea over Dewsbury-Hall.

Fulham interested in Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Chelsea brought the English international from Leicester City just a year back in 2024 for a fee of €35.4 million. The Maresca connection was clear for all to see.

Dewsbury-Hall has shown flashes of his potential every now and then, but the competition is too high for him to cement a regular spot at the club. He has remained a regular contributor off the bench.

Dewsbury-Hall made just 13 Premier League appearances last season, with 11 of them being off the bench. But across all competitions, he appeared 36 times, scoring 5 goals.

But moving forward, his game time is expected to shrink even further with the potential arrival of Xavi Simons, as the Blues are said to be engaged in advanced talks with RB Leipzig for the player. So, will he choose to stay beyond this campaign?

Having said that, there are no concrete talks about an exit despite Fulham links. Moreover, the English midfielder might choose to stay a little longer to compete for a regular place in the squad. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Dewsbury-Hall.
