As the international break interrupts domestic affairs for the next week, let’s take a look at four Chelsea FC players who desperately need to impress on duty.

This Easter international break is the last one before domestic football makes an uninterrupted run through to the end of the season. Often, it provides an opportunity for teams to regroup before that final big push for whatever their goals are. Chelsea FC, though, have quite literally nothing to play for.

However, given the awful campaign that Blues fans have endured, first-team squad members may have slightly different objectives over the next few days. Ahead of a proposed summer clearout, many may want to impress in order to prove their worth. Meanwhile, with EURO 2016 and the Copa America Centenario taking place this summer, some will be playing for their places in international squads.

So let’s take a look at four players who desperately need to put on a good show this week.
