In part two of this series, we run down the latest Chelsea transfer news and rumours before picking apart another of Antonio Conte’s formations: the 4-3-3.

A lot has happened in the time since the last Tactics and Transfers was published. While at the same time nothing has really happened at all. Chelsea FC have been linked with essentially every player under sun and yet they have signed no one.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho and Manchester United have already begun their now seemingly annual post-Ferguson squad rebuild. Before our examination of another one of Antonio Conte’s likely formations we’ll try to wade through the majority of nonsense surrounding these transfer rumors.
The good news is that, with Euro 2016, we have been able to observe Antonio Conte in action and the reviews have been good. In fact he has been wonderful. Often the best sign of a coach is a man who finds a way to do a lot with a little.
Conte managed to make his under-talented Italy team look like champions against one of the tournaments favorites, Belgium. A-plus work from Conte and he’ll be worth the wait no matter how long Italy survive in this tournament.
